Changing Volunteering Roles
When I started volunteering over 12 years ago I helped the admin team. After a few years I started helping patients and their families. This has now progressed to being a trained bereavement volunteer, which I find very rewarding.
Golfers Support Volunteering
We are incredibly grateful for the support we have received from local golfers.
Many of our local golf clubs tend to support a local charity which is chosen by the reigning captain and is their “Charity of the Year” and we have been lucky enough to be chosen.
From Shopping to Bereavement Support
Sally started volunteering in the admin team and has since been trained to become a bereavement volunteer.
Making The Unbearable Bearable
For myself and my family, having help from the Midhurst team of carers made the unbearable slightly more bearable.
15 Years of Volunteering
Following my qualification as a massage therapist and reflexologist I decided to work with people who had life-limiting conditions, and their carers, as I felt this was a neglected area.
Meet our Volunteer Community
Seventeen years ago I started volunteering for the Midhurst Macmillan service - and I'm still here and loving it!
