Golfers Support Volunteering

We are incredibly grateful for the support we have received from local golfers.

Many of our local golf clubs tend to support a local charity which is chosen by the reigning captain and is their “Charity of the Year” and we have been lucky enough to be chosen.

Throughout the year they run a variety of fund-raising activities typically linked to some of their annual events and competitions...... thus multitudes of raffles, cake morning and other more adventurous events like a sponsored bike ride by Cowdray members.

Many of our local golf clubs tend to support a local charity which is chosen by the reigning captain and is their “Charity of the Year” and we have been lucky enough to be chosen.

Equally, Liphook and Bohunt Manor jointly help collect found golf balls which are given to a Bohunt golf club member, Ian Munday. They are cleaned, sorted and bagged up as “Experienced Balls” and sold though the many outlets. (click through to the full story about Ian Munday)

The Captains charity at Liphook for 20/21 and 21/22 seasons raised a brilliant £7000. Equally, in a similar two-year period, Cowdray raised an impressive £xxxx.

Whilst Bohunt Manor, with almost all the money raised by the golf ball sales, have raised over £20,000 in the last couple of years.

We are hugely grateful to these clubs for their support.
