Natalie in Harting Community Hall

Natalie, a one-woman force of nature

Watching an advert on the TV for a Macmillan coffee morning.....”I can do one of those” thought Natalie over 7 years ago.

That's how it all started, and since hosting her first coffee morning, Natalie has carried on with one event after another mostly with the support of her family and friends. In particular, supported by many very generous people in and around the West Sussex village of South Harting where the majority of the events are centred.

An amazing £15,000 has been raised to date and this year looks set to be another record breaker. Events have ranged from Christmas Fairs, Car Boot sales, Quiz Nights, Raffles, selling donated items on Facebook's Market Place as well as the well-attended coffee with cake events... etc.  The list seems endless and even includes donations via a Metal Detectorists shop in Bognor, a sign of how Natalie has developed such an extensive group of supporters over time.

Clearly, extraordinary amounts of personal effort and time have been given up to achieve this very significant contribution to our funds. Midhurst Palliative Care are extremely grateful for all Natalie's hard work and money raised, which helps us to maintian our much valued independent Macmillan Service.
